The ultimate wild natural play area comes to a garden

It was so nice to be invited to design and build one of our natural play areas for WildwoodUK fans! The family that we built this play area for are advocates for this kind of play and their lucky children have this right in their garden to play in every day. This beautiful garden surrounded by woodland made our work the perfect fit for conservation minded people.

The family even came up with their own name for the play area - The Hollow is the perfect name for it. It's made from approximatley 23 tonnes of natural oak tree trunks all pieced together to create that wild feel. There are two hideout sections, a bridge, a descent rope, clamber logs and the whole area is surrounded by wildflower turf.

Read what our past clients have to say about us

We are thrilled with the playground Wildwood UK designed for us here at Flag Fen. The elegant design fits in perfect harmony with our site, which is famous for its Bronze Age causeway.

We wanted a play area that would engage children and introduce them to the historical significance of our location. The design not only provides a fun and imaginative space for our little visitors but also serves as a subtle educational tool, interpreting the archaeology of the site in a way that is both engaging and meaningful.

We are over the moon with our Wildwood playground here at school; it totally compliments the woodland in our local area. A professional build from start to finish - thank you Lawrence and team!

Chorleywood Parish Council has three Wildwood Dens across Chorleywood Common. They are expertly crafted and are a fascinating feature in their own right.

The Dens are very well used and enjoyed by children of all ages encouraging them to participate in natural and creative play whilst developing their skills in climbing and balance.
