Lawrence has spent most of his career working in nature conservation and estate management. He has a wide range of experience in managing the countryside including farming, forestry, nature conservation and public access.

It was this grounding in countryside management and a passion for nature that encouraged him to form WildwoodUK 8 years ago. Since then has overseen the installation of many play areas in schools and public spaces. Lawrence has drawn on his background in conservation to conceptualise, design and create wild and innovative natural play areas that are truly about nature and a sense of place.

WildwoodUK was founded by Lawrence’s desire to see young people making lifelong connections with nature and special places. Wildwood UK became a full-time business in the summer of 2017 and we are growing quickly to respond to the appetite for our natural play designs.
