Little Chalfont Nature Park

The ultimate Wildwood Den, a perfect fit for a beauiful Nature Park
This wonderful park is run by a dedicated team of volunteers. It's a place full of life- incredible tree specimens and species rich grasslands. It's a great benefit to the local community. The committee that run the park knew that one of our natural play sculptures would be a perfect fit for the Park. We sorced huge oak trunks from a tree safety felling operation only 3 miles from the park. The oak trees were destined to become firewood so we intercepted them so that they could provide life to the soil, wildlife and bring joy to lots of children.
The volume of oak in this structure makes it almost as important as an ancient/veteran tree.

We wanted a play area that would engage children and introduce them to the historical significance of our location. The design not only provides a fun and imaginative space for our little visitors but also serves as a subtle educational tool, interpreting the archaeology of the site in a way that is both engaging and meaningful.
