Natural play towers spark imagination and connect children with nature in their own school field
The school team wanted to provide our natural play experiences in the school grounds. The large school field provided the ideal opportunity to set aside a small area for our exciting natural play design and to plant native trees and plants. This really made a difference to the children at the school as this is the only natural, wild space the children have access to. We brought in stunning pieces of oak to construct this exciting play structure that engages the children with nature and natural processes through play. The whole area was planted with native plants and we planted a native species of willow called sallow to help manage groud water levels during the winter.
The staff and children were delighted with their new wild addition to a semi-urban school environment.

We wanted a play area that would engage children and introduce them to the historical significance of our location. The design not only provides a fun and imaginative space for our little visitors but also serves as a subtle educational tool, interpreting the archaeology of the site in a way that is both engaging and meaningful.
